Celebration and Reunion

Dear Family,

Hi everyone. I hope that winter is over for most of us and that warm weather will be our constant companion now…we have so many things to be thankful for.

All of us are aware that Frances and Arlie and Ellen are growing older. They have lived very full lives and have blessed all of us in many ways.

August 7th, 2010, we are all gathering for a day of celebration and reunion at the park up in Oregon City that we have used so many times in years past.

Especially invited are all who are children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren of Frances or Arlie and Ellen. Cousins, nieces and nephews and their children, etc. are also invited.

The family will gather about noon and then Frances and Arlie and Ellen will join us about 1 o’clock in the afternoon. One or more of them may not stay the entire afternoon because they tire out quickly, depending on the day….but the rest of us can stay into the evening.

We all haven’t been together for a very long time (if ever) so I am hoping that this will be the time for gathering. They have a great posterity and have much to be proud of.

I have begun this blog for you to add stories and pictures to. If you want permission to author (that means to write or add pictures) then I need to add you as an author so please email me and I will add you. It is a great way to compile their stories and memories.

I do not have everyone’s email, snail mail or telephone (land and cell) and would be so grateful if you could pass this letter on to family members who did not receive this communication as well as sending me the names, email, snail mail, cell and home phone numbers of those I don’t have..

I will have a large descendency chart at the reunion so everyone can see our relationships and generational ties. I don’t want to leave anyone off the chart…so please make sure you send me info I may not have.

Assignments will be given out for food to bring…if you have a favorite, let me know.
